Driver and ATV Rider Training Courses

Driving any vehicle correctly requires skill.
Driving different vehicles correctly requires different skills.
There is so much more to 'driving' than just operating some controls.

Here at Quadventures we are pleased to offer a range of ATV and off road vehicle training and experience courses, either to equip you with your legally required qualifications or simply to expand your general skill base.
Learning can be fun
Applying the knowledge is very rewarding, both personally (from a safety point of view) and financially!

Training Courses are offered in 2 broad categories:

Professional Operators
Lantra ATV Quad Bike and Sit In Operating
4x4 Off Road Driving
On Road Trailer Towing

Leisure Users
Quad Bike Off and On Road Driving
Buggy Off Road Driving
Under 17s First Drive
On Road Trailer Towing

Professional Operators
All professional operators of a Quad Bike or 'Mule' style sit in ATV are legally required to undergo training. Employers, (and the self-employed), must provide adequate training in the safe use of ATVs, including towed equipment and attachments.
Quadventures offers training courses via the LANTRA scheme, delivered by qualified and registered LANTRA instructors. Courses are held at our facility near Ripon, N Yorks, or we can come to a suitable location of your choice nationwide.

3. Trailer Towing Training
It is a legal requirement for all drivers who have obtained their driving licence since 1997 to gain an additional qualification to tow a trailer. (B + E addition to the licence is the actual requirement). There are some exceptions to the rule for light trailers, but anything like a horse trailer, car trailer, box trailer or similar will fall within the law.
Many people are unaware of the law and tow illegally, albeit unwittingly.
Don't get caught out! Get qualified.
Please call Craig Elsworth on 01845 537766 for further details of our training course.

Leisure ATV Users
The popularity of quad bikes and buggies continues to grow apace, with more and more people acquiring machines for leisure use. Many are exclusively off-road ATVs, but an increasing number are fully road legal. These machines behave in their own unique, and often challenging ways.
We are delighted to announce that we are preparing a selection of skill enhancement courses, designed  to help you to quickly raise your skill base to a safe, confident level and position you well ahead of the field!
They will be much more than tedious 'training' courses. Rather, they will be very hands on, with plenty of practical experience, loads of useful tips, plus some valuable theory, all presented in a light and friendly style.
Enhance your skills and minimise the risks.
Full details coming soon.
