Where can I buy one of these great machines?
We don't currently sell the buggies ourselves, but we are well placed to advise you as to what is available and where they can be purchased.

What will we do?
Firstly you will be given an introductory briefing and kitted out with appropriate safety equipment. Then you will enjoy a short familiarisation period in the vehicle, driving off road in a controlled area. Once your leader is happy that everyone is ready the adventure drive begins. Your escorted trek will be great fun and feature a variety of terrain and driving experiences; fast and slow, hills and mounds, woodland trails, muddy tracks etc etc. The exact route will depend upon your trek duration, weather conditions etc. Junior drivers can look forward to a similar but less challenging drive.

How many vehicles are there in a trek?
Usually there are 3 or 4 adventure buggies plus the leaders vehicle. Of course, this number can vary depending upon circumstances.

How much does it cost?
All prices are currently being reviewed so please call for further information.

Are there any hidden extras?
NO. We hate them just as much as you probably do.

Is the briefing part of the trek time?
No.
The briefing, kitting out etc is within your reserved time, but please arrive approx 20 mins early to allow for this.

Can we share the driving?
No, unfortunately we do not allow shared driving.

What clothing do you supply?
Helmets are, of course, included. Protective clothing and boots are available for purchase on the day.

What should we bring?
This varies depending upon the time of year and the trek duration. For clothing, plenty of layers are best i.e. jumper, fleece, scarf, maybe a second pair of socks, thick trousers are all worth considering.  Sturdy footwear is advisable. If it's raining you will definitely get wet. Only wear clothes you are happy to get dirty.
Please don't come with just a Tee shirt. The chill factor can be considerable and getting cold will spoil your enjoyment.
You may wish to consider a change of clothes for your homeward journey.
Cameras are strongly recommended, plus some spare batteries!  
And it doesn't matter if you forget to bring a happy face - we will provide that by the end of the trip.

Is it very wet and muddy?
Yes, it can be. The adventure buggies are completely open and so water and mud will spray anywhere at any time! On wet days it can be very wet, but that's all part of the fun. Be prepared to get wet and/or muddy at any time, even on the driest summer's day. Equally, dust is just as likely on those long dry summer days we seem to be enjoying nowadays. 

Where do we go?  
All treks take place on private land.  This is a mix of open fields, muddy trails etc, with stunning views into the far distance.   

Do you offer any additional activities?
Yes.
Quad bike trekking, 4x4 off road driving, (leisure and training), clay pigeon shooting and Segway riding are all available on site. Groups are well catered for with a wide selection of adventurous activities available. Stag and Hen parties are a speciality. Team building exercises, games, country pursuits,  themed activities ...

What are my responsibilities as a driver?
Drivers are required to display a satisfactory level of driving competence and general responsibility at all times. Anyone failing to meet or maintain this standard will not be permitted to continue. You will be expected to drive to a  'public roads' standard.
